Day three of our Universal Orlando adventure was all about Volcano Bay—and wow, what a water park! 🌋💦 We arrived ready for action and were immediately blown away by how massive and beautifully themed the park is. From the towering Krakatau volcano to the lush, tropical atmosphere, it truly felt like we’d landed on an island paradise.

We spent five solid hours exploring and still only scratched the surface of everything this park has to offer! The kids were all smiles at Tot Tiki Reef and Runamukka Reef, while the big hits for us were the Moana-themed water slide, the relaxing lazy river, the adrenaline-pumping fearless river, and of course, plenty of time in the wave pool. 🌊👙🌴

Like clockwork, the classic Florida afternoon thunderstorm rolled in, and all the water attractions temporarily closed. So, we headed back to Stella Nova to dry off, shower, and get ready for a delicious evening ahead.

Dinner was at the legendary Mythos Restaurant inside Islands of Adventure. Between the ancient ruins theming, glowing waterfalls, and the incredible food (yes, the bread is as good as they say!), it was a perfect way to wind down after a day in the sun. 🍽️✨

After dinner, we had enough energy left to stroll through both parks, soaking in the evening vibes, catching a few more rides, and watching the lights come on as the sun set over Universal.

All in all, another magical day full of splashes, storms, and family fun. Tomorrow: more exploring—and maybe some spells to cast. 🪄☀️🌧️🌋

Our Airbnb in Bimini

Bimini, Bahamas: Part 2 - Our First Day in Bimini

Our Bimini adventure’s begun! A quick flight from Fort Lauderdale landed us on this sunny island. Despite a golf cart mix-up, we’re settled in our condo, loving the beach, and ready for fun with Mia, Kathy, and the grandparents. Day one’s a win—more to come!
